At Bell, we are proud to be among the top employers of choice for veterans. We recognize the values of integrity, trust, respect and commitment to excellence instilled through military service, and we proudly honor those who have served and continue to serve our nation. Bell will accomplish our mission to change the way the world flies by becoming the Employer of Choice for veterans transitioning from the service, supporting our veteran employee population as well as veteran needs in the communities we serve. As a proud supporter of the 100k Jobs Hiring Initiative, our veteran recruiting and placement team actively attends military career events throughout the country.
Military and veterans make up roughly a quarter of our employee population. We are committed to providing internal support and ensuring that their unique contributions are recognized. We have an active employee resource group that leads veteran focused efforts across the company while our Veterans Monument and Virtual Veterans Wall pays tribute to those who have served and continue to serve. Each year we also recognize the armed forces through our Service Birthday and Veterans Day recognition ceremonies.
Veterans Helping Veterans – The Mission of the VORTEX Employee Resource Group is to be a strategic partner with Bell to enhance the well being of Veterans inside and outside of Bell. Our VORTEX is a valuable resource used to build a mentorship program for veteran employees, offer employees the opportunity to help Veterans in the local community and establish programs and activities aligned with the mission of Bell.
The Bell Armed Forces Monument stands as a recognition and thank you to each branch of our military service and the men and women who have served with honor and distinction. It is dedicated to all Bell Veterans past, present and future.
