Whether a military or commercial aircraft, we want to honor you for flying safely when you fly Bell. We offer a Pilot Safety Award Certificate for a certain number of hours flown accident-free in our aircraft.

Most pilots only hear of mistakes made by another pilot in an accident. We want to recognize those who fly safe when they fly Bell. Bell provides a Pilot's Safety Award certificate for hours flown without an accident in a Bell helicopter, in both military or commercial aircraft. This award is given in thousand hour increments to recognize those pilots with a proven commitment to safety. We have listed individual pilots receiving this award since January 1997 along with their respective safe flying hours. Check out how your experience level compares to your fellow vertical lift pilots. Watch the table regularly for updates of the newest safety award recipients.

 

To apply for this recognition certificate, please send a request letter from the chief pilot, CEO, military commander, or other individual who can confirm how many accident-free flight hours you have flown in Bell aircraft. If you are an individual pilot / owner, you can write the statement yourself.

  • Tell us how you would like the name to appear on the certificate and feel free to include a military rank if you have one.
  • The Bell Flight Safety Group will verify the accident-free period and issue the certificate through a Bell Marketing representative. Pilot Safety Award certificates that are presented at a company safety meeting help your business emphasize the importance of their safety culture.
